50m pool at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool

Our centres are home to a number of local aquatic, sport and recreation program providers.

We offer facility hire across aquatic, recreation and sports spaces.

These include:

  • Pools and aquatic spaces

  • Indoor sports courts

  • Synthetic sports fields

  • Fitness and studio spaces

  • Meeting and event rooms

Facility hire supports structured programs, events and community use. All bookings are managed to ensure safe, consistent and fair access to public spaces.

We run an expression of interest (EOI) process to manage ongoing and recurring facility hire. The process opens twice each year (May and November) to allocate space across our centres.

The 2026 EOI process has concluded

However, you can still submit a casual hire request.

About the opportunity

The EOI process helps us:

  • Provide fair and transparent access to limited space

  • Support a mix of community and commercial use

  • Prioritise programs that deliver public benefit

  • Maintain safe and well-managed facilities

  • Ensure compliance and safety standards are met

The process aligns with our commitment to equity, community access and good governance.

What this means for hirers

  • Apply through the EOI if you need regular or ongoing access

  • For one-off bookings, you can use the casual hire process

Conditions of hire

  • Aquatic and recreation spaces are shared with the community

  • Whole-of-centre exclusive hire is not permitted

  • Some spaces, such as courts and meeting rooms, may be hired exclusively

  • Bookings must not disrupt existing programs or public access

  • An approval process applies to booking requests

Facility hire is subject to availability, safety and operational requirements.

About the EOI process

Casual facility hire

Casual hire is available for one-off or short-term bookings. This allows individuals, groups and organisations to access unallocated space outside the annual EOI process.

Casual hire supports flexible access while ensuring community use remains a priority.
