Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are qualified to prescribe exercise for health, rehabilitation and fitness.

They can support in treating a range of injuries and conditions including

  • Cardiovascular conditions such as coronary heart disease and stroke

  • Musculoskeletal injuries including back and joint pain

  • Respiratory conditions including COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and post-surgery

  • Rehabilitation including knee or hip replacements

  • Type 1 and 2 diabetes

  • Cancers

  • Mental health challenges

  • Obesity.

AEPs can also work with healthy individuals to assist them in optimising their health and fitness goals, leading to improved function and ability to complete activities during daily living.

Exercise physiology can be claimed under a number of rebate schemes, including

  • NDIS

  • Department of Veterans Affairs

  • Chronic Disease GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements Program

  • Aged Care Plan

  • Workcover

  • Private Health Insurance
