We're committed to providing the best possible facilities for our valued members and are always looking for ways to enhance your experience within our aquatic and fitness centres.
That's why, starting Saturday 7 June 2025, the indoor court at Cook + Phillip Park Pool will be temporarily closed for approximately four weeks as it undergoes an update. We look forward to reopening the space in early July, following final inspections.
What’s changing?
As part of these works, the court will receive the following improvements:
Resurfacing of existing floors
Fresh line markings
New safety netting around the court
Sanded and polished wall panelling and skirting
These enhancements are designed to improve the experience for competition teams, regular hirers, and casual players alike.
Who's affected?
Competition teams
All competitions scheduled during the closure will be temporarily paused. Teams will be notified of revised start dates for the next round. We appreciate your patience while these works are occurring.
Regular hirers
All recurring bookings will be suspended for the duration of the temporary closure. Where possible, we will suggest alternative facilities to minimise disruption, subject to availability. Our team will be in touch with hirers directly with more information.
General centre users
While the court is closed, there may be temporary changes to nearby access areas:
The Air Gym will remain open, with potential minor access limitations.
The works will not have an impact on other facilities or programming throughout the centre.

We’ll continue to provide updates throughout the refurbishment via:
