Prince Alfred Park Pool

Published Sun, 3 Nov 2024

We are retiring the six individual centre websites and launching a new, consolidated, easy-to-use website.

As part of the ongoing commitment to updating and enhancing the digital experience for all members and visitors to the City's aquatic and fitness centres, cityofsydneyleisure.com.au will become the primary website for all information about programs and services.

From Monday 18 November the following centre websites will be retired:

  • abcpool.org

  • cookandphillip.org.au

  • gunyamapark.com.au

  • itac.org.au

  • princealfred.org

  • vppool.com.au

There is no action required from members or website visitors, and users who may have old links saved, favourited or bookmarked will be automatically re-directed to the new website.

What's new?

  • One website, all locations - No more jumping between websites! Whether you're looking for swimming lessons at Gunyama Park or exercise classes at Cook + Phillip Park Pool, it's just a click away. No changing tabs or browsers.

  • Search the way you want - You can search by centre location, program or services with an optimised menu and convenient search bar at the top of the page, putting you in control.

  • Be kept up to date - All centre updates, timetables, and special events are now easier to find and access. You can stay in the know with everything happening across all six of the City's aquatic and fitness centres.

  • Access your online customer portal with ease - Simply log-in to your customer portal from the website to book an exercise class, manage your membership, connect with other available services and more.

What does this mean for you?

  • Find what you need faster and more easily

  • Search by a location or service

  • Stay up to date with more consistent, real-time updates

  • Enjoy a smoother, simpler and more accessible experience

IMPORTANT: We’ve recently launched a new lane availability view as part of our system upgrade to Xplor Recreation.

While it provides up-to-date lane information, it currently displays availability one lane at a time rather than a full pool view.

We are actively working on updating the lane availability feature with our technology partners to develop an enhanced view.

Our pools always keep a minimum of four lanes available for casual lap and leisure swimming at all times*
