Group Exercise

When you're ready to shake up your exercise routine, the City's aquatic and fitness centres offer a wide variety of engaging classes for everyone.

We've been adding exciting options to the timetable over the past few months to keep things fresh and fun! Which class will you try next?

New group exercise classes
Dance Fit - Tuesdays at 6:30pm (Cook + Phillip Park Pool)A high-energy workout that blends dance and music into a cardio and interval training blast. Enjoy uplifting tunes and diverse styles including hip hop and Latin dance.
Boxing - Tuesdays at 12pm (Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre)Offers a structured, 45-minute long class in three rounds. IT includes an intense cardio warm-up, boxing with intervals of bodyweight exercises and core work.
Shallow Aqua - Mondays/Tuesdays at 7pm (Gunyama Park)Done in shallow water, this class uses water resistance to increase cardiovascular fitness as well as muscular strength and endurance.
GOLD meditation and breathwork - Wednesdays at 10am (Victoria Park Pool)For our patrons aged 55 and over, this session offers meditation and breathwork to reduce stress, boost mental clarity and enhance wellbeing. Suitable for all levels.
BODYPUMP - Thursdays at 7am (Cook + Phillip Park Pool)This high energy workout challenges all the major muscle groups using the best weighted exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls.
Kids Zumba - Wednesdays at 4:30pm (Gunyama Park)A 30-minute class for children aged 4 to 6, featuring music, dance, and fun activities. It includes games, cultural exploration, and simple, step-by-step routines to boost coordination, balance and more.
