Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool will reopen from 6am on Tuesday 1 September, marking the start of the summer swim season.
Opening hours:
Monday to Sunday: 6am to 8pm
Public holidays: 7am to 7pm (unless otherwise advised)
Lap swimming
Lap swimming will be available from reopening day, with real-time lane availability published on our online . You can check real-time updates to plan your swim in advance. We encourage you to explore the tool for full pool views and live availability.
Prince Alfred Park Pool temporary closure
Due to the temporary closure of Prince Alfred Park Pool for essential maintenance works from September to mid-November, lane availability at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool may be adjusted at certain times.
Recreational swimmers may experience reduced lane availability, with three public lanes available instead of four, to accommodate aquatic programming.
While lane availability may vary from day to day, customers are encouraged to plan ahead and consider visiting at alternative times or other pools if they prefer greater lane availability.
Memberships
If you remained an active 360 member or visit pass holder during the off-season, you will be able to access Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool from opening day in-line with your 360 membership benefits.*
If you placed a long-term suspension on your membership for the duration of the off-season, your membership benefits and direct debits will automatically resume from re-opening, and you will receive communication from us regarding the re-opening.

Learn to Swim
Our Learn to Swim program will return from October. Enrolments will open in September, giving families time to secure a spot. The program includes classes for children aged 6 months and older, with progression-based levels taught by accredited instructors in a safe and supportive environment.
Group exercise classes
Group exercise classes will return at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool from October.

Pool facilities
All standard customer amenities, including hot showers, lockers, toilets, accessible change rooms and family-friendly facilities, will open from 1 September. We’ve taken care to ensure these spaces are ready to support a safe and comfortable return to the venue.
