COSAC Come and Try Club Races

The excitement of a real swim carnival - without the pressure.

If your child is in Swim Squads, our Learn to Swim program (level 4, 5 or 6), or turning 8 next year and can swim 25 metres confidently, they're invited to join COSACs FREE Come and Try event.

When: 4pm - 5:30pm, Saturday 25 October 2025

Where: 25m indoor pool at Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre

What to expect:

A fun and educational afternoon
Learn how the club works, what club races involve, and how to take part
Friendly club races for squad and Learn to Swim members
A chance to practise skills from training

Mixed gender races

It’s free to attend, but swimmers must purchase for a free COSAC Come and Try membership via the Swim Central website. See below for details.

How to register

Visit the Swim Central website and set up an account.
Click Events on the side menu and select 'Locate an Event'.
In the search field, type COSAC, then click on the event (ensure Oct 2025 is selected as the Starting Calendar Month).
Go to 'Entries' and follow the prompts. If you haven't already, you'll need to complete a swimmer profile and obtain a swimmer membership.
The club you are joining is City of Sydney Aquatic Club and the membership for these races is the COSAC Come and Try Membership 2025/26 Season (membership is free).
