From Wednesday 1 July 2026, the fitness centre at Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre will remain open until 9pm on weekdays as part of a 12 month trial.

The fitness centre's weekday operating hours (Monday to Friday) will change from: 6am - 8pm to 6am - 9pm.

Weekend operating hours will remain unchanged.

Please note that this change applies to the fitness centre only. Aquatic facilities are not included in the trial and will continue operating under their current hours.

The extended hours will operate under an initial 12 month trial period, after which member feedback and usage will be reviewed.
