The program will be led by Ocho and Lucas, two passionate runners and fitness professionals who bring unique perspectives and experiences to the class.
About Ocho
Ocho is a familiar face at Gunyama, having been a part of the community since we opened as a fitness instructor, for reformer Pilates, GOLD classes and boxing. He started running 5 to 6 years ago and quickly developed a passion for structured training and has completed three marathons, multiple half marathons, three Half Ironman races and several Olympic-distance triathlons.
He focuses on helping others build confidence, resilience, and consistency though disciplined, smart training.

Running started as a personal challenge for me, but it’s grown into a lifestyle. I’m passionate about helping people discover what they’re capable of and supporting them to build confidence, resilience and consistency through training.
About Lucas
Lucas began running to complement his weight training and improve his cardiovascular fitness. He focuses on 5K and 10K distances and is training for his first half marathon.
Lucas brings a fresh perspective and emphasises building confidence and enjoying the progress of consistent training.
Running has become a key part of my training and a way to keep pushing my limits. I love how running complements strength training to build well-rounded fitness. Through Run Club, I’m looking forward to helping others build confidence and enjoy the progress that comes with consistent training.
