Chiara is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and Exercise Scientist (AES), graduating with Distinction from University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2025 and accredited with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
Exercise Physiology allows me to combine science, movement and genuine human connection. I love helping people feel more confident in their bodies and supported in their health journey.
What Chiara does as an Exercise Physiologist
Chiara delivers evidence-based, individualised exercise programs, including initial assessments, one-on-one sessions, ongoing reviews and behaviour change support. She values a holistic approach, often working collaboratively with GPs and allied health professionals to help clients achieve sustainable results.
No two people are the same, so their exercise program shouldn’t be either. My goal is always to meet people where they’re at and build a program that feels achievable, safe and empowering.
Community-driven and passionate
Beyond the clinic, Chiara is actively involved in community fundraising initiatives. She has participated in the '86km for a Cure' charity run annually for the past three years, raising funds for childhood cancer research. In 2025, she and her sister completed 91km, raising $658.73.
Giving back through initiatives like this is incredibly important to me. It reminds me why preventative health and quality of life matter so much.
Areas of special interest
Chiara’s key areas of interest include Neurological Conditions (particularly Parkinson’s Disease), Mental Health and Women’s Health.
Her passion for Parkinson’s Disease began during a research internship at UNSW and Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA), where she developed strong clinical research skills. She plans to complete an Honours project in 2026 investigating upper limb function in people with Parkinson’s Disease.
“Seeing how targeted exercise can improve independence and confidence for people with neurological conditions is incredibly motivating,” she says.
Her placement at St Vincent’s Hospital Mental Health Service highlighted the vital role Exercise Physiologists play in supporting mental health, while her work in Women’s Health reflects her commitment to supporting women through pregnancy, menopause and key life stages.
Women benefit enormously from personalised exercise, especially during times of change. It’s about building strength and resilience, both physically and mentally.
Extensive clinical experience
Across her university placements, Chiara completed close to 600 hours of clinical practicum, working in a range of settings including hospitals, clinics, schools and fitness facilities. These experiences have shaped her confident, compassionate and adaptable approach to client care.
