We are committed to maintaining and improving our facilities to ensure the best experience for our members and visitors.
Planned concrete renewal works will be taking place around the toddler pool at Victoria Park Pool in early to mid-April 2026. These works will occur during daytime hours and be completed in stages to minimise disruption.
There will be no full closures to the centre, and regular programs will continue to operate as normal, but may have reduced capacity. However, the toddler pool will be temporarily closed while works are underway. During this time, lane 5 to 8 of the 50m pool will also be temporarily unavailable, with lanes 1 to 4 remaining open.
What to expect during the works
Temporary exclusion zones around the toddler pool area in place for safety
Toddler pool temporarily closed
Reduced lane availability in the 50m pool (lane 5 to 8 closed, lane 1 to 4 available)
Changes to access around the pool deck
Short periods of noise or visual disruption
Temporary odour during surface treatments
Reduced ramp access at times
At least one ramp will always remain available, with accessibility maintained across the centre
To reduce impact on day-to-day operations, only one exclusion zone will be in place at a time.
Clear signage will be displayed in-centre, and our team will be available to assist and provide guidance as needed.
All other pools, gym and regular programs will continue to operate as normal.
Thank you for your patience while we complete these important maintenance improvements.
