We are committed to maintaining and improving our facilities to ensure the best experience for our members and visitors. As such, we have scheduled essential maintenance works at Cook + Phillip Park Pool.
Please read the details below to stay informed about upcoming closures and access restrictions.
What’s being upgraded?
To improve safety, comfort, and functionality, we’re making the following upgrades:
Maintenance to the plant room
Replacing Perspex panels on the mezzanine above the court
Installing PA speaker cables for sound in the Air Gym
Adding wall-mounted air circulation fans for better airflow in the court
Protecting fragile assets (e.g. antennas, fans) with safety enclosures
How this may impact your visit?
We’re working with our maintenance partners to minimise disruptions, however, some facilities will be impacted including the indoor sports court, mezzanine and Air Gym (see below for specific date impacts).
Closure of indoor sports court and mezzanine
The indoor sports court will be closed on Friday 4 April.
Other areas may have restricted access including:
Mezzanine access will be limited, which may impact change rooms and member lockers for part of the day
Emergency exits will remain accessible but should only be used in an emergency
Closure of the Air Gym
The Air Gym will be closed on Monday 28 April. Works will continue for approximately 10 days, with minimal impact beyond a small exclusion zone in the Air Gym.
Alternative options and support
We’re here to help make this transition as smooth as possible:
Hirers and competition teams will be contacted directly to arrange alternative bookings where possible
Sporting teams will have a scheduled bye round on the day
Alternative change rooms and lockers will be available throughout the centre and in the gym
